The Curry Leaf

Murraya Koenigii is the curry leaf plant which is used extensively in Indian and Sri Lankan cooking. Leaves do not keep well off the plant and are best used fresh.

The 'regular' version plant, which will grow up to 1.5m tall eventually, will be a minimum of 12cm tall from top of compost.

The 'Gamthi' version plant, which is a dwarf variety and will grow up to 20cm eventually, is considered to have the best flavour. It will be a minimum of 8cm tall from top of compost.
