Appearance: Resembling small lily pads, with veins running through them. Averaging around 2.5cm in diameter.

Taste: A distinct flavour, peppery and mustard tones. 

Uses: 

A very diverse leaf, commonly used in restaurants as a decorative feature.

Health Benefits: 

Interestingly, the plant has the highest nutritional content prior to the leaves sprouting.  Focusing on their high vitamin C content, they are able to improve immunity, tackling the colds and flu. Plus help avoid bacterial and fungal infections. 
These plants also contain high amounts of manganese, iron, flavonoids, and beta carotene.

Nasturtium has been used in traditional medicine, treating a wide range of illnesses and conditions, such as hair loss.
