Appearance: Very similar to the mature plants leaves, only without the flower. Vibrant green leaves with black heads in the middle. 

Taste: Uniquely flavoured, not dissimilar to the commonly used sunflower seed. A refreshing crunch to the leaf , followed by hints of nuttiness and lemon tones. 

How to Use: 

• A diverse ingredient, can't beat the classic salad. Make them the main attraction.  
• Home-made soup, complements pea, sprout & coconut very well. 
• Jazz up the classic potato salad, with shoots
• Homemade smoothie.
